A U.S. Marshal and former close friend of Colton who tracks the McAllister gang. After surviving a gang ambush, he reveals James's destination to Colton and warns him against revenge. Later, he collaborates with Brooke to officially record Colton's death as heroic while she keeps the gang's buried money.
