A French colonel partnering with Yousseff to build a railroad. He uses Margot to spy on Paul but becomes suspicious of him. After Margot rejects his proposal, he discovers the railroad is funded by the Nazis, switches sides, and joins Paul in capturing Yousseff to ensure fair treatment for the Riffs.
