A scientist who rescues the dying Kensuke Hagane and transforms him into a powerful metal-eating cyborg. He remotely monitors Hagane's combat capabilities, nicknames him Lead, and provides him with a special command to regulate his emotions and prevent system failure. At the film's conclusion, he brings a doctor to rebuild the mortally wounded cyborg.
