An aggressive USAF pilot originally paired with Doug Masters. After Doug's death, Matt joins Operation Dark Star, clashing initially with Soviet pilots before forming a bond with Yuri Lebanov. He disobeys abort orders to protect ground forces, survives the mission, and later participates in a US-Soviet exchange program.
