A renowned English botanist bitten by a werewolf in Tibet. He discovers a rare Himalayan plant, Mariphasa, which temporarily reverses his lycanthropy. Struggling with his curse, he accidentally kills several women while transformed. Eventually hunted down by police, he is shot to stop his rampage and dies, reverting to his human form.
