Main protagonist. Wealthy son of Rani Maa who fakes a limp and muteness to avoid an arranged marriage. Flees to Kashmir, falls in love with flower seller Champa, and later discovers his true parentage as the biological son of Karuna and Dinu. He overcomes obstacles to save Champa and marry her.
