A former CRPF soldier who returns to the village after an injury. Following his wife's death, he develops an inappropriate sexual relationship with his daughter-in-law, Sundari. When confronted by his son Anbu, he makes callous and defensive remarks, leading Anbu to sabotage their boat and leave him to drown at sea.
