Lana's uncle and a traumatized Vietnam veteran. Initially paranoid, he drives around Los Angeles filming and spying on individuals of Arab descent, convinced they are plotting terrorism. Through a road trip with Lana to return the body of a murdered man to his family, he begins to confront his prejudices and learn more about Muslim life.
