Harvard football player enlists to avoid marriage. Becomes romantically involved with Kit Richards and rivals Bill Burke. Receives an officer's commission and attempts to propose to Kit. During a demonstration jump, his parachute tangles with the aircraft tail, but Bill cuts the lines to save him. Reveals he repacked Bill's chute earlier, saving both their lives. Helps destroy the objective and moves on to another woman.
