A scientist who betrays his team and reanimates an ancient alien fossil using a beetle enzyme. He plans to clone and sell the creature, but it escapes and turns hostile. Wessinger's compound is overrun by mercenaries, and he is ultimately killed when his assistant triggers a bomb.
