Protagonist. A singer and dancer who attempts suicide after being callously abandoned by her lover Howard. Saved by Carl, she joins the Salvation Army, later succumbs to Howard's temptation to return to their old lifestyle, but ultimately rejects Howard and chooses to return to the Army with Carl.
