A playwright sharing a Paris apartment with George Curtis. Both fall for Gilda Farrell and initially agree to a platonic arrangement. Tom travels to London to stage his play, returns to find Gilda with George, and secretly rekindles their affair. He crashes Max Plunkett's party, leading to a brawl, before ultimately returning to Paris to resume the unconventional trio living arrangement.
