Benny is a University of Akron student and football player who falls in love with Christopher. His family was devastated years earlier when Christopher’s mother accidentally killed his brother, Davey. After learning the truth, he struggles with the conflict, temporarily breaks up with Christopher twice, but ultimately reconciles and attends a stage play with him.
