A wealthy client and friend of Richard Grant who intends to marry Barbara. He plans to rewrite his will for his former mistresses, writes a preemptive suicide-framing letter, and attempts to sexually assault Barbara. He is murdered by Grant but his body's rigor mortis later accidentally kills Grant.
