The enigmatic protagonist who arrives in a war-occupied town claiming to be either Jean or Boris, a Resistance fighter or traitor. He suffers from conflicting memories and tries to convince three secluded women of his past deeds. Ultimately, he is shot dead by an undead Jean while assuming the role of Boris.
