An Air Force flyer and childhood friend of Nell Wayne from Youngstown. He and Mike travel to San Francisco to see her perform. Rick lies about their assignment to spend more time with Nell, leading to conflict when she discovers the truth. He eventually forgives her and is seen off before deployment.
