A successful young detective investigating his colleague's bombing. He receives taunting messages from the killer, tracks him to murder scenes, and engages in a cat-and-mouse game. Despite cornering the perpetrator, he ultimately fails to prevent the killer's final revenge murder and subsequent suicide.
