An alcoholic drifter and chronic gambler who works as a mechanic at a garage fronting a stolen car ring. After his nephew is injured by a thief's getaway car, Gabby investigates the crime, uncovers evidence linking the ring to his brother-in-law, and teams up with Silver to take down the criminals. He ultimately marries Silver after the gang is eliminated.
