She manipulates events, including a staged gambling house raid, and returns to her criminal boyfriend Matt Jackson despite her recovering doctor's interest. After Matt kills an FBI agent and attacks the doctor, Beth intervenes, leading to Matt's death. She may receive leniency for her actions.
