The ruthless ruler of Pei who demotes Ziyu and accepts political humiliation to maintain peace. He secretly orders assassins to eliminate Jingzhou and his mother. At the victory feast, he attempts to manipulate Jingzhou into fully replacing Ziyu, but is ultimately murdered by Jingzhou, who frames the real Ziyu for the regicide.
