Gabrielle's uncle and a carpenter who reluctantly takes Naoufel as an apprentice after discovering he is an orphan. He provides Naoufel with an attic apartment and teaches him the trade. After Naoufel's accident, Gigi attempts to comfort him and later assists in searching for the missing Naoufel.
