A decorated Korean War pilot tormented by past missions. After requesting a divorce, he struggles with alcoholism and gambling in Madrid. Initially refusing a dangerous smuggling job, he eventually takes over the flight from Jimmy, discovers narcotics being smuggled, and cooperates with Interpol to secure a clean slate and reunite with his wife.
