A much younger man Kate meets while Christmas tree shopping. He crashes their holiday party and shares an intimate moment with Kate after she gets injured. He questions Everett about their past marriage and later dramatically strips to fight a house fire. Though Kate appreciates his kindness, she rejects him, and he ends up giving Tess a ride.
