A sailor and Corunna's sweetheart who advises caution after her father's death. He is taken prisoner by the British but orchestrates an escape alongside the crew, commandeering a pleasure yacht to pursue Corunna. He ultimately defeats Slade in a sea battle, proves his loyalty, and reconciles with Corunna.
