Renner's ex-wife and Zooey's mother. Initially distant due to Renner's secretive career, she agrees to let him care for Zooey after learning of his terminal diagnosis. She is impressed by his efforts to become a better father and ultimately reunites with him and Zooey for Christmas at a beach house.
