A biathlete and master of sports who returns to his native taiga village with his wife Nastya to work as a physical education teacher. After witnessing a violent crime committed by the local shaman Vitya, he decides to train the victim's young son, Ilya, to seek revenge and deliver justice, directly challenging the village's brutal codes.
