A frustrated programmer at Initech who, after a hypnotherapy session, stops caring about his job and begins slacking off. He participates in a scheme to embezzle money via a computer virus, takes responsibility for the crime, but ultimately avoids prison when the company building is destroyed. He later starts a new life in construction.
