A childhood friend of Ramallo and Manuel who has become a nun working at the sanatorium. Though she harbors past feelings for Ramallo, she maintains her religious vows. She discovers his criminal plans but covers for him, assists in recovering stolen goods, and ultimately tends to the aftermath of the fatal violence, symbolically shedding her religious garb at the end.
