The employer's wife and subject of his painting. She conspires with the guide to abandon her husband and visits the mysterious waterfall, believing it grants youth. The water causes severe physical deterioration and an unquenchable thirst. Upon seeing her monstrous reflection in the painting, she panics and is accidentally shot dead by a dying accomplice, after which her body self-cremates.
