Youko Yuzuki is Kanako's older sister and actual mother. She transfers Kanako to Mimasaka's hospital and is later blackmailed by assistant Suzaki. She joins the investigators at the facility, reveals the researcher's true nature, and fatally shoots Kubo to save herself, leading to her arrest.
