Rahul's father and a teacher. He frequently criticizes his son's irresponsibility. He visits Anu to advocate for Rahul's love, but is accidentally slapped by her. He suffers a fatal heart attack shortly after, which devastates Rahul and drives much of the plot's emotional conflict.
