Daughter of a naval officer who initially intends to marry a businessman but falls for Mike Malone. She picks up runaway Tommy and his dog, assumes Mike abandoned them, and later helps Mike contact the orphanage. Ultimately, she marries Mike and adopts Tommy and his dog.
