The wealthy owner of Big Red who initially trains him as a show dog. He separates the dog from Rene, orders euthanasia when Red is injured, and plans to sell him. After being rescued from a mountain lion by Rene and the dogs, he makes a deal for Rene to live with him and keep the animals.
