A Chinese master chef who travels to Finnish Lapland with his son to visit a deceased benefactor. He takes over the local cafe's kitchen, replaces the repetitive menu with diverse Chinese dishes, and wins over both local customers and stranded Chinese tourists. He teaches that food brings happiness, falls in love with the cafe owner, and eventually marries her in China before returning to manage the cafe together.
Cheng assumes culinary leadership while Sirkka manages the cafe's operations and customer service.
