Tomboyish daughter of the Biddles, educated by tutors and isolated from conventional society. She learns social graces at boarding school, becomes engaged to Angie Duke, cancels the wedding when he yields to his mother, and ultimately elopes with him to Detroit after a dramatic jailhouse reunion.
