A successful toymaker during WWI initially asked by the government to re-tool his factory for the war effort. After consulting his father and son, he agrees but later regrets it. Motivated by his brother Frank being declared MIA and government plans to discourage Christmas celebrations, he successfully lobbies the government to resume toy production, earning him the title 'The Man Who Saved Christmas.'
