Woman framed for a hit-and-run by her mob ex-boyfriend. Forced to flee with Charlie after an EPA agent is killed. Despite initial wariness of Charlie's violent alter ego, she bonds with him during their cross-country chase. Eventually rescued from Dickie and cleared of all charges, happily accepting Charlie's marriage proposal.
