A dim-witted enforcer working for John Rankin who attempts to harass Tex Haines and later tries to arrest him. He serves as Rankin's muscle, carries out orders to eliminate threats like Panhandle, but is ultimately outsmarted, tricked into arrest, and fails to stop the Rangers' investigation.
