Doc's son who wins and tames Lightning. After a falling out with his father, he returns to help cure the horse and secures the Atlantic City contract. Following Doc's death, he assumes management, helps Sonora navigate her sudden blindness, and proposes to her. He is her lifelong partner and supporter.
