An influential student leader who opposes political interference in college elections. He is deeply in love with his neighbor Radhika, refuses political bribes, and survives an assassination attempt by Lallan. After recovering, he teams up with Arjun to contest elections, ultimately winning a seat and turning his attacker over to the police.
