Museum owner and primary antagonist who covets the grandmother's property. He orchestrates anonymous threatening phone calls, murders Dr. Crawther and Judge Stemple, and is strongly implied to be responsible for Amanda's mother's death years earlier. He uses mannequins to disguise himself and terrorizes Amanda throughout the film.
