Recently paroled ex-con who takes a job at Lydia's mansion to start fresh. He discovers an abandoned baby, convinces Lydia to raise her, and becomes a devoted caretaker. His past criminals resurface, leading to his arrest, but he ultimately steps up to claim custody and inherits Lydia's estate upon her death.
