Marie's father. A guarded yet phlegmatic Norman who clashes with the boisterous Adolphe during a St Tropez visit. After being insulted, he abruptly packs up and returns to Paris. He anxiously searches for his missing daughter Marie, attempting to contact Adolphe and later receiving a reassuring call from her.
