A cinematographer traveling to Santa Carolina who carries a book of World Cinema History. He opens a bar, falls in love with dancer Diana, and uses film screenings on a white sheet to civilize the local cowboys. Despite sabotage by rivals and the bar owner, his movies positively influence even the outlaw Black Jack. He ultimately leaves to spread the beauty of cinema with his changed companions.
