An ACP in Bangalore who investigates illegal land dealings involving criminal Section Shankar and a corrupt DIG. After arresting a bank manager, he is ambushed by Shankar's gang. Although rescued by his brother Hari, Varadanayaka ultimately dies in Hari's arms following the attack.
