TNT detective and Dumars's colleague who confronts him over the suspicious tip and contacts DEA Nix. Investigates the neighborhood alone and brings back a cartel lookout. Initially suspicious of Dumars but learns the truth, alerts his FBI brother Del, pursues Nix in a car chase, and ultimately survives to honor Velez's memory.
