Illegitimate cousin who initially refuses his inheritance but accepts it to save the family estate and marry Susanna. After being deceived by Giacomo into believing Susanna is unfaithful, he separates their daughter from her mother. Upon learning the truth from a dying Giacomo, he searches for the presumed-dead child, is stabbed by a delusional Luisa, and ultimately reunites his family.
