An emissary who attempts to bribe Luc Germon to influence his clients regarding a corporate buyout. Germon initially rejects him. Later, it is revealed that Vanecker was actually Fontaine's agent sent to set Germon up in a trap, exposing Fontaine's manipulative scheme.
