Credited as a handless Vietnam veteran whose memoir inspires the film, but he is revealed to be a Coast Guard sanitation worker who faked his disability and never served overseas. He advises the director's guerrilla filming strategy, gets captured, and is later found by the cast. He destroys the bridge to save Tugg from the gang.
