Discovering her secret affair with Tristan, he feigns outrage to publicly humiliate Marke and shatter the alliance, prompting other kings to abandon their leader. He leads a massive invasion against Cornwall, surrounding the castle with his army and traitorous Saxon forces. Ultimately, his invasion is defeated, ending Irish domination.
